Earn while you wait —
AAVE yield on idle vault assets.
Supply supported ERC-20 assets such as USDC, USDT, DAI, 50 WETH, or WBTC from an AAVE-configured EVM vault into AAVE v3. Fully non-custodial, withdraw anytime, yield inherits with the vault.
Most inheritance vaults sit idle — capital doing nothing until a claim. HeirVault integrates directly with AAVE v3 for configured EVM vaults so supported ERC-20 assets can earn lending yield.
5 EVM Chains Supported. Non-EVM vaults do not share this AAVE strategy; TRON and Solana yield use separate program paths.
Supply is opt-in and per-vault. You choose which assets to supply, the vault holds the aTokens (1:1 redeemable), and heirs inherit both principal and accumulated yield automatically.
Key features
3-5% APY on stables
Live market rates on USDC, USDT, DAI via AAVE v3 on Ethereum and Base. Typically 3-5% on stables, 1-3% on WETH/WBTC.
Non-custodial all the way
aTokens held by the vault contract. 1:1 redeemable from AAVE. No custodian in the middle. Your principal stays yours.
Yield inherits
Accrued interest is part of the vault balance. Heirs pull yield pro-rata with principal when the claim executes.
Withdraw anytime
Supply and withdraw whenever you want from the vault dashboard. L2 chains make it gas-cheap (~$0.10 per operation).

Questions
Frequently asked
Is my vault still non-custodial if it's earning AAVE yield?
Yes. The vault mints aTokens from AAVE's non-custodial lending pool — 1:1 redeemable at any time, reserve-backed, audited by multiple firms. Your principal is not custodied by anyone, not by HeirVault and not by AAVE.
Which assets earn yield?
USDC, USDT, DAI, WETH, and WBTC on Ethereum and Base. APY varies with market demand — typically 3-5% on stables, 1-3% on ETH. Live rates shown in your vault dashboard.
Can my heirs inherit the accumulated yield?
Yes. Yield accrues to the vault address, so it's part of the inheritance distribution when a claim executes. Heirs pull their share including the yield pro-rata.
What's the gas cost?
One tx to supply, one tx to withdraw. Typical cost on Ethereum mainnet is $2-10 each. L2 chains (Base, Arbitrum) run at ~$0.10. HeirVault does not deduct a HeirVault yield commission from the current AaveStrategy; any separate commission policy is not active on-chain.
What if AAVE has an issue?
AAVE has a safety module that acts as a first-loss buffer. In the extreme case of a protocol-wide depeg, yield might pause; principal recovery depends on AAVE's safety module outcome. That risk is disclosed in the vault dashboard before you supply.
